The St. Vincent DePaul Society is molded by the life of its founder Blessed Frederic Ozanam. Following his example, St. Henry/St. Vincent de Paul gives temporary assistance to those in need of help; regardless of race, religion, or circumstance. Our St. Vincent de Paul Society is the charitable arm of our Church. Eucharistic ministers visit area Nursing Homes; and shut-ins in their home, on a weekly basis. Food Baskets and a few toys are delivered to those less fortunate during the holidays. Easter lilies or plants are delivered to our Shut-ins at Easter. Individuals experiencing temporary difficulties; may call our Voice Mail at (463-2411) for direct personal and confidential aid. We are most grateful for the generous donations we receive from so many of our parishioners and from our Parish Organizations, which makes our work among the poor possible.
Meetings held on 1st Monday of month at 1:00 P.M. in the rectory. No dues. |

R.C.I.A. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person into believing with the Church community (doctrinal formation), living with the Church community (practical formation), praying with the Church community (liturgical formation) and serving with the Church community (apostolic formation). This gradual development begins with the first Sunday of Advent and culminates in the celebration of the initiation sacrament of baptism, confirmation, and the Eucharist at Easter time. The post baptismal catechesis continues until Pentecost Sunday. If anyone is interested in learning about our faith please contact the rectory. Chairperson: Jeannette
