WORSHIP & LITURGY

Worship Committee

• Develops plans for and coordinates the most important area of parish life - the worship of our faith community.

Church Decorating Committee

• Plans and implements any changes in the interior of the church as well as seasonal decorations.
• Meets with Worship Committee.

Servers

• Assist celebrant during Mass.
• Any parishioner from spring semester of 5th grade or older is welcome.

Greeters

• Prepares worshippers with an atmosphere of hospitality by welcoming everyone at each door of church.
• Anyone of any age needed for each weekend Mass at each of the seven doors.

Ushers

• Collect offerings of parishioners.
• Distribute bulletins and other materials as needed.
• Insure presence of offertory Gift Bearers.
• Any men and women and youth are most welcome.

Eucharistic Ministers

• Assist the celebrant in the distribution of Holy Communion, the Body or Blood of Christ at all Masses.
• May bring Communion to parishioners who are sick and/or confined in nursing homes or residences.
• Pray and visit with the sick.

Lectors

• Proclaim the Word of God at all Masses as well as the Prayers of the Faithful.
• Any parishioner in 6th Grade to Adult is strongly encouraged to participate.

Music Ministry

• Leads the congregation at Mass with hymns, which adds to the solemnity of the celebration.
• Practice is held Wednesday evenings.
• Any parishioner 6th Grade and older is welcome.

Musicians

• Any kind of musician to assist organist at any Mass according to your schedule.

Altar Society

• A group of our Ladies Sodality who invite anyone to help them ready the Altar area weekly, clean linens and vestments and periodically clean the whole church.

Children's Liturgy Volunteers

• Leads the children of the parish (Kindergarten through 5th grade) in a special Liturgy of the Word during the 10:30 A.M. Mass on Sundays. Pamphlets are used to help the children identify with the message for the day.
• Anyone in 6th Grade to Adult is welcome to help.

Prayer Group

• Support parish and members with weekly prayer Tuesdays at 7:30 P.M.
