Most Sacred Heart
Parish Mission Statement
"...you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God. You form a building which rises on the foundation for the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the capstone. Through Him the whole structure is fitted together and takes shape as a holy temple in the Lord; in Him you are being built into this temple to become a dwelling place for God in the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:19-22)
We are called to live the gospel message through the formation of a Christian community that is open, encouraging, evangelizing and affirming. As members of the Church, we are challenged to become active disciples who continue to “put on Christ” through continuing faith formation. We are called to strive through the renewal of our minds and hearts to actively love God and to love our neighbor. Our spiritual growth is to be nourished in prayer and devotion, reaching its finest expression in our liturgical acts of worship. As followers of Jesus, we must witness our faith to the world through concern for and service to others. In our response to others in need, we become partners in the universal call of Christ that “all might become one.”
